It is well worth 5 minutes of your time to read through the three pages so

Update 24/8/2010 : The guide has been updated with even more changes you need to be aware of as a player or coach or team.
26/08/10: 5 Star Pre Season Cup 2010
Lock in Sunday September 12 Futsal fans as the the 5Star Futsal Pre Season tournament returns.
Held Annually for the past three years, the full day of Futsal action showcases some of the best Futsal clubs competing in both the newly named Mc Donalds Futsal Premier League and the Mc Donalds Futsal Super league competitions.
In this years installment Campbelltown City Quake, The Sydney City Eagles and The Mascot Vipers will be the Premier League representatives whilst the Super League contingent will be led by promotion hopefuls the Northern Tigers and host club the Sutherland Shire Futsal Club.
The tournament has proved an accurate form guide throughout its short but entertaining beginnings, with the club which has taken out this tournaments overall title going on to win the Club Championship proper in the Premier League.
Quake, The Eagles and the Vipers are hoping to replicate what Sydney Magic and the Allstars have done previously. "The competition gives the clubs and all their teams an opportunity to put their sides through a good preseason tournament and whilst it is competitive it's still enjoyable in the format we run the competition. Every club plays each other once and it gives the Super League clubs an opportunity to test themselves against Premier League Clubs, which they wouldn't be able to do in normal circumstances" 5Star Futsal Director Adam Confoy noted.
Peter Spathis, Australian Futsalroo Goal keeper and Co-Director of 5star Futsal continued "At 5star we are solely a futsal supplier so it's an opportunity to give the clubs that have supported the brand a competition in its own. The tournament has really grown from the first year and it really has become part of the Futsal calendar".
Campbelltown City Quake who were runners up in last years tournament will start as favourites for overall honours. The Quake Mens team will look to start this season just as they finished last year and that's with some silver wear. The return of experienced duo Miles Downie and Simon Keith see the Quake start favourites for the Mens Competition.
The Sydney City Eagles and the Mascot Vipers will be making their debut in the pre season tournament and have been going along rather quietly in their preseason build up, but both clubs have high expectations not only in this tournament by also the season proper. The Sydney City Eagles u/16 Boys will be sensational to watch whilst the Vipers are home to the most talented female Futsal program in NSW and should be warm favourites to take out those four respective competitions.
Both Super League Clubs, the Sutherland Shire Futsal Club and the Northern Tigers are run by charismatic futsal personalities and have improved each year they have been in the competition. This could be the year for either of these two leading Super League clubs to make that final push to cement their promotion to the Mc Donalds Premier League and send out warning signs to fellow promotion hopefuls.
The tournament will once again see points accumulated over the course of the day based on games played. The coveted 5star Preseason trophy will be awarded to the Club with the most accumulated points as well as prizes distributed throughout the day.
This years tournament also hold a special significance as it symbolises and recognises the effort of female administrators within the sport. The contribution that women make, especially within these five futsal clubs is significant and is mainly done behind the scenes and without any recognition.
Presentations for these hard working women will be a feature of the day along with the competition trophies.
The 5star 'Ladies Day' Preseason Tournament promises to be a fun and action packed day.
Come along to the Menai Indoor Sports Centre to watch some of the best futsal action in NSW.
The action kicks off at 8.30am.

16/03/10: NSW Futsal Awards Night
NSW Futsal Premier and Super League awards night a success
Futsal Premier League Player of the Year went to both Danny Martinez and Ben Lawson
Football NSW celebrated the culmination of the 2009/2010 Futsal season with a spectacular awards night held at the Bankstown Sports Clubs' newly furnished Grand Ballroom.
In front of over 400 invited guests 117 trophies were awarded to worthy recipients for their achievements and efforts throughout the season.
Football NSW President Jim Forrest spoke of how pleased he was with the growing popularity of Futsal and in particular the participation of people with disabilities and the social contribution Futsal can provide.
Forrest also praised the efforts of the NSW Thunder side which regardless of the results competed well against fully paid professionals at the World Club Championships in Iran.
Entertainment for the evening was provided by a magician named Phoenix who much to the amusement of the audience met his match when he unwittingly selected Eagles coach Roy (Ray) Cowie to come up on stage (and try) to help him with his routine. Much to the relief of all concerned he eventually managed to complete his trick without too much embarrassment.
A thought must be spared for MC for the evening Football NSW's Executive Manager for Commercial Services Tony Peters who did a fine job to speak and kept the night moving along on time with the handing out of 117 trophies.
